COME TO SLIMMONS IN OCTOBER!

Three years ago after finishing one of my cruises, one of the ladies who joined us at sea came up to me and said...", thanks to the Cruise To Lose, I finally have the motivation I need to return home and really do it this time! I'm all charged up! But I was thinking, it sure would be nice to have some sort of get-together for all of us before the holidays. You know, like a 'Mini-Cruise To Lose!'"

Hmmm, not bad. And her suggestion gave me an idea. From her thoughts came the idea behind the first ever Slimmons Weekend Retreat! Our first retreat was held in the month of October. I invited everyone to join us at Slimmons for a three-day weekend that would help them all get motivated before the holiday season arrived.I assembled a team from Slimmons and three years ago, we put our very first retreat together. People came from all over the United States for this sweaty and motivational weekend. Some of them were from that year's Cruise To Lose. Others came because they read the message about the retreat and/or were Clubhouse members. But oh, what a ball we had! And at the end of our inaugural retreat, everyone said they were ready to go home and face those Ho-Ho-Ho holiday foods!

Well, good news! I have decided to continue the tradition we started three years ago. So, get ready! From October 17th to October 19th, my Retreat teachers and I invite you to join us for our 2008 Retreat! It's going to be great fun! And when you join us, you're gonna learn a lot and sweat a lot, too! By the way, I've been giving Slimmons a makeover. I've redone the hardwood floors and they look so beautiful! And for my birthday, Sherry, who manages the club for me is having the entire studio painted. We also have new pictures on the wall so we'll be all ready for "company."Everyone will arrive at Slimmons on Friday night and the first thing we'll do after meeting each other is move! Oh, yes...that music will go on as we all rejoice about the results we'll see in ourselves over the next three days.

There's always something new to learn about nutrition and meal planning. And we'll have a very informative seminar covering that subject. Of course there will be some great exercise classes, featuring everything from cardio to strength-training to a few classes I'm not even going to tell you about yet.We'll be having some very nice, healthy lunches together. We'll have a great motivational seminar. And oh, on Saturday night, just wait'll you see. I'll be transforming Slimmons into a disco so get ready to..."Burn, baby, burn!"So do you need some extra motivation? Have you been going on-and-off program this year? Have you lost and gained enough weight...enough times? And are you ready for a change?

Well, on the Home Page, you'll find all the information you need to sign up for the Retreat this October. The price is there and so are recommendations for hotels. There's also an E-mail address for you to write and get any other information you may need.October is just around the corner and maybe it's time for you to take time for you.
