We went to see Dark Knight last night at the IMAX. Oh.My.Gosh! That movie is great in the first place, but it's got to be 1000 times better on the IMAX screen. I don't want to give anything away for anyone that has yet to see this movie, but on the IMAX it is not for the faint of heart (like if you have the vertigo issues that go with IMAX movies LOL). Enuf said. DS loved the movie!! I am glad I was able to comply.

Holy cow! We got there 45 minutes early and there was already a huge line. I hadn't even thought to go earlier in the day to pre-buy the tickets and I was like "dude, I hope it's not sold out - if it is, we'll buy tickets for tomorrow". Fortunately, they had 113 seats unsold when we got there, so we got in! Also fortunately with the huge line, they would let people go in to the concessions and pre-buy their snacks and drinks, so I held our places in line while he went to get his "Dew" and licorice. I didn't have anything at all because I knew my 2-hr capacity bladder would need to wait about 3 hrs LOL!!

40 weeks. I don't know why, but I went on the Bloomsday website yesterday and there is a race counter that showed 280 days til Bloomsday 2009! (For those of you that don't remember or are newer to the group, that's a 12K road race here in my home city. 7.46 miles of walkers, runners, wheelchairs and spectators. Up to 50000 register for this) Anyway. That's 40 weeks exactly. Oh.My.Gosh! OK. I have 40 weeks to train (LOL @ training this early) and lose weight (not too early for this). I had a goal to be 50 lbs lighter between the 2007 and 2008 races, remember? Well, it's my goal to be at 190 by 2009 race day. When I set it, it was about a 1 lb a week loss/goal. Totally doable. NOW it is 1.5 lbs a week. Still doable.

But. I need to get on the COMMITMENT TRAIN daily to Successville. I need to choose to eat "right" and exercise daily. I need to remember my water, vitamins and sleep for the journey. It's a long journey. 40 weeks. I can't go dehydrated, undernourished and sleep-deprived, now can I?

Anyway. I hope you are all had a fantastic weekend and have a great new week!! As you can tell, I did not mass-flood the group with responses to the posts for the last two weeks this weekend. Rather than do that, I have just read everything and will move on <wink>

in WA310/246.6/170 (-63.4 total, 76.6 to go, 6.6 from half-way point) I've lost 66.5 inches!!Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.--Sigmund FreudGet fantasy football with free live scoring. Sign up for FanHouse Fantasy Football today.
