TWO WEBSITES I LIKE

Thursday, 18 September 2008

A few months ago, I received a letter from a lady named Sherry. Her letter really stuck out in my mind because she just made so much sense. You see, Sherry had been a stressed-out, burned-out and corporate desk worker for over 25 years.

She told me she was creating a You Tube-like website called take5moment.com It's purpose would be to share simple motivating videos to get people out of their desk chairs and taking a break. She wanted to know if I would be willing to share some exercise and nutrition tips with those people stuck behind their desks at work all day long.Of course I said yes! Because I know there are millions of people out there working very hard at their jobs and who really need to take an invigorating five minute break to help relieve all of that stress. So Sherry and her camera crew came to Slimmons one day. There, she taped me exercising with and helping people with their food programs.Since I went up on Sherry's website, I've received hundreds of E-mails from people who have really enjoyed my clips from Slimmons. Sherry also has clips from other experts from all around the country, sharing stress-relieving tips and strategies for helping people get through their workdays. So I'm recommending her website to you. It's www.take5moment.com

I have another website I'd love for you to take a look at. You all know how I love to collect dolls, right? Well, there's a store I've been buying dolls from for a very long time. It's in Whitman, Massachusetts and the name of the store is Dollery Gifts Boutique. They've been selling the most breathtaking, one-of-a-kind and limited edition dolls for 26 years. I absolutely love the store and I love Kim Malone who is the store. Every year, they do a beautiful doll show that really just should be seen by everyone! Some of the finest doll artists like Brahms, Hanna Goetz, on and other world-famous doll artists fly in for this big event. This year, it''l be held on Saturday, October 11th. But for those of you not in the area and who can't make it, Kim has an online version of the show that will also debut on the 11th.And by the way, she also puts out a beautiful catalog with pictures of so many dolls along with the artists who made them. This website is www.dollery.com. I'm telling you, it's amazing to see what these artist can create from a lump of clay! Some of them are so realistic that, when you look at them, you actually feel like you're looking at a real little person! So isn't this fun? Today, I got to share with you two websites that I just love to visit. And I hope you'll go visit them both soon!Love.
