Went to Curves this AM - first time in a month. I guess you have to go more than once a month for it to work (grin).

So, I was quite proud of myself for that, took water with me, ate a banana on the way there. But then, someone brought in donut holes. Now if I had had something else in addition to the banana for breakfast, I might have been all right. But they led to a day of grazing, so I'm not sure I'm any better off today.

I am fairly tired tonight, about two hours earlier than expected, and it just hit me. Well, you exercised this morning!

Will be finishing email, do the dishes, maybe have a cup of tea and go to bed.

I know what you mean about b-days, I get that way about Mother's Day too - it is like for one freakin' day can you all give me a break?? LOL!((HUGS))

Had a very rough start (, my 11 1/2 year old, was a crappy pain in the neck and DH wasn't much help) this morning but I managed to get my workout done after both kids were gone to school and DH was gone to work. I did 30 Day Shred Level 1, WATP Express 1 mile walk and the sitting (on chair) stretch from Tamilee's stretch DVD. 30DS went well. I went up to 6 lbs for most exercises, 10s for chest press or whatever that is called (can't remember right now, lying on back, weights held over chest, bring them down and then back up with slightly bent arms). I used 3s for first set of the shoulder raises in circuit 3 and had to go to 2s in the second set. Oh well. I'm glad I'm doing anything at least. The workout was better than her 1 mile for abs. This is supposed to be an "easy" walk and it is so I held 2 lb. weights to ramp up the intensity a bit. The music was better than the abs one and and the cast seemed

much more natural, it was more fun so I'll keep it for a 1 mile, easy option. The sitting stretch didn't do a ton for me. I like the standing and floor stretches on this DVD but don't do this one very often so I thought I'd give it a try today. Now I know why I don't do it very often!

The workout helped me feel better. DH apologized too and we talked so now I'm having a good day. I hate birthdays, they're always so freaking emotional. I don't care about getting older (I'm glad to be able to get older) and I try not to make a big deal out of it but I can't help it, I still want to be treated just a little bit more special and it is very disappointing when life is too normal! :-)

Off to play with my workouts. They have gotten disorganized and I feel like playing with them too. I could declutter something else or clean or all kinds of other things, but this sounds like more fun. Tomorrow I'll go back to normal life.
