One of the new changes groups recently made was the availability of

things called Grouplets. In the official Groups blog they explain what

they are and how to access them:

http://www.ygroupsblog.com/blog/2008/10/23/calling-all-moderators-new-features-a\

vailable-to-test/

and this morning I opened Grouplets for this group. You can find them

here:

100-plus/grouplets/subscriptions

Let me know if you want to add any - Favorites has a " custom " field that

can be added. The Profile one a lot of you may want to use, now that

groups has eliminated alternate profiles under My Account

. There's even a Grouplet where you can buy

and sell stuff to group members or even trade things.

Remember that everything you put into these Grouplets is visible to all

group members. For that reason *everything* is optional (Except those

made mandatory, like your name and birthdate in the Birthday

form), including adding your real name in any form that asks for first

and last names (I usually fill those in with " Sue " as the first name,

" in NJ " as the last. You never have to even look at these Grouplets if

you don't want to, but they may be fun. I see a few people had already

filled in the People Map when first made it available.

The url for the Grouplets page is added to the group's Description on

the home page until groups finally add it to the links on the left

hand side of every page.

Have fun! And please, don't hesitate to offer any suggestions on how to

improve this page.

Sue in NJ
