Guest guest
SUCCESS STORIES FROM THE RETREAT Friday, 24 October 2008 As you know, last weekend, I had my big retreat at Slimmons. People came in from all over the country to be with me at my club last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They were there to learn more about their bodies, to do something good for their bodies and, oh yes, to have some fun! On Friday night, our first night together, we all exercised for 40 minutes. On Saturday, everyone exercised for 2 hours and 20 minutes. And on Sunday, we did another 45 minutes of exercise. That's a total of 3 hours and 45 minutes of exercise for that weekend! Now I have to tell you that the majority of the people at the retreat had never spent that much time exercising in just a single weekend. And as I told you earlier this week, when they took their first class on Friday night, many of them were kinda like the old deer caught in the headlights. But they got better and better each day of that weekend as we continued our workout sessions. Since our retreat, I've heard from just about everyone who joined us. And boy, do they ever have some success stories to tell. Many of those who joined us on the retreat lost five pounds that weekend. Some of them who were more overweight when they arrived even lost a little bit more than that. And even though they were a little sore after all of those workouts, they were all so proud of themselves for having worked out almost four hours over the course of the weekend. Ya-HOO for all of them! My retreaters have written to tell me, since they've returned home, that they're still working out 45 minutes to an hour daily. And the even better news is that they're all continuing to lose weight! Now many of you are going into this weekend overweight. And we may as well admit that all of us feel that the weekends were kinda made for eating. Yep, the majority of Americans add weight to their bodies, Friday through Sunday. And then on Monday, they want to start their weight-loss programs all over again. If you're one of these kinds of people, please don't be a repeater. I want this to be a workout weekend for you! I want you to try and do an hour to an hour-and-20 minutes of exercise each day this weekend. I want you to do some toning work and some cardio. And I want you to think of how great and energetic you're going to feel when Monday rolls around as a result of all the hard work you did this weekend. Now I'm not going to fib to you. I love eating on the weekends, too. I allow myself to watch a little more TV during the weekend. And you know that there's nothing better than watching TV and eating at the same time. No, I'm not perfect with my food but I am always perfect with my workouts. And that's why I've been able to maintain my ideal weight for all these years. Remember, if you put that extra food into your bodies, then you've got to get that body of yours moving to work it off! Please make a promise to yourself that you will really sweat this weekend!Love,
