I have looked all over for reasonably priced cards for Christmas that are by

artists with DS or cards that benefit those with DS. They are hard to come

by. Printing costs are extremely high. does a beautiful job,

but they are $2 a piece. (website is below) To my knowledge, NDSS or NDSC do

not have boxed cards to date.

Here is a message from 's mom, Robin:

We did have /s cards at a DS Conference in Boston a few years ago.

Love And Learning shared our table. The proceeds from the sales of the

notecards help to pay for art supplies and studio expenses so that

can keep painting every day and so that he can keep sharing his art with

people who have Down syndrome and their families.

Band of Angels, in the past, has had some Christmas cards. If I'm correct,

the last time I bought some (about two years ago) they were sold in boxes of

12 for $12.

Not to worry a, you have had your share lately. How is your husband

doing? Let him know he is not alone and hopefully such as mine, he will

recover quickly and be pain free in that area. With love, Patty

Hi Mandi

Hold fire a few days - was it the end of last week you sent them?

What happens when you send things from Mandi mart and they don't

arrive - do you get compensation?

Thanks

When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. Wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get it. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these hero's would receive. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include thefollowing: A Recovering American Soldier c/o Walter Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Avenue,NW Washington,D.C. 20307-5001One site has it all. My apologies. I should have checked snopes first. The guy that gave it to me apparently didn't, or would have known this would not work.
