Guest guest
THE TURNAROUND Tuesday, 16 September 2008 is 36 years-old, a proud husband and father of four. And is also a food addict. He'd been a big eater for all of his life. At one time, he worked in a pizzeria and ate pizzas the whole time he was at work. And when he arrived home, he wasn't finished. He'd continue eating, up to eight hot dogs and then guzzle several cans of soda to wash 'em all down. And because of these awful eating habits, 's weight kept creeping up...to an eventual 340 pounds! In April of this year, began experiencing chest pains and shortness of breath. So his wife drove him to the hospital, right away. An initial stress-test revealed that had some blockage in his heart. He had to go through a procedure called a cardiac-catheter to determine the extent of damage to his heart. And thankfully, the results of the procedure showed that his heart was clean, there was no damage. Thank goodness! considered those test results a blessing and a miracle from God. And not only that but he decided that he was going to begin living a healthier life to show his gratitude. began eating the cleanest and most simple foods from the six food groups. One of the meals that he began making for himself was a sandwich with lean turkey breast on two slices of whole wheat bread and Health Smart mayonnaise. He'd also have two cups of sliced carrots with some light ranch dressing as a little salad. counted everything and I mean....every single calorie. He began drinking plenty of water instead of all those soft drinks he used to have. He did allow himself to have one little treat, every two weeks. also began sweating and lifting weights. His wife and children were his biggest supporters and they even began eating like he was eating.Since April, has gone from 340 pounds down to 248. That's a loss of 92 pounds! He sent me some photos of himself and, let me tell you, what a turnaround he's made! has added muscle to his frame and taken ten pounds off his midsection. When I had the pleasure of talking to him, I told him how fantastic he looked. His photos looked like those of a Chippendale's dancer! Way-to-go, ! I also got to say hello to his wife. She told me how proud she was of her new "peacock" of a husband. She also told me that, now, all of her family members were eating healthy foods right along with and were all working out daily. Whatta family, huh? I mean, isn't this a great success story? Now, don't you wait for a heart scare to put yourself on the right path. Begin today making your own healthy turnaround.Love,
