THE GREAT ESCAPE!

Some of you reading this joined me on my Cruise To Lose last April. And you Clubhouse members who didn't go on the Cruise did join me on our Cyber Cruise right here in the Clubhouse. And I know that there are lots of you reading this message who visit my website to read my daily messages to get a good dose of motivation.

And the question for all of you reading today's message is this: Have you lost weight this year and have you lost weight since April? If not, well, it's time for you to take the Great Escape. And I'm talking about this year's Fall Retreat at Slimmons!Once a year, I have a retreat for those people who need a little kick in their motivation heading into the holiday season. So, many of you fly into Los Angeles from all over the country to spend a weekend with my staff and I at my exercise studio, Slimmons, in Beverly Hills.Yes, I do have a home-sweet-home where Hattie, Dolly and I live. But I have to say that Slimmons is my true home and I've been there for 35 years now! This is the third time I'll be having my retreat at Slimmons and boy, I really love doing them. This year's retreat will be held October 17-19.

On Friday night, everyone will meet at Slimmons where we'll get to know each other a little more before taking a fantastic Sweatin' class. Then we'll have a little Q & A session as we review our entire weekend schedule. After a good night's sleep, on Saturday morning, we all meet back at Slimmons and take all kinds of classes. We'll be talking about the body and how to take good care of it. And everyone will be taking the morning motivational class and a good-old "Dance Your Pants Off" class. That class will include cardio, strength-training, abs work, push-ups and stretching. It's gonna be a gooder!After that, we'll break for lunch and have a food nutrition class before everyone takes an afternoon break. Then we'll hop back into Slimmons Saturday night for a Dancing Extravaganza Class and that's all I can tell you about it right now. Let's just say that you'll have so much fun as you burn the calories and the night away! Then I shush everyone back to their hotels so they can get a good nights rest because we'll have lot to do on Sunday.

Sunday morning will begin with a "Round Robin" Class. What's that? Well, it's where all of my instructors from Slimmons will teach a little bit of the class, right along with me. You'll get a good dose of all of my instructors and it's a lot of fun! The Round Robin Class is followed by a Toning Class, then we'll break for lunch and continue our classes until it's time for everyone to leave to catch their flights home.There will be something new this year. That is, everyone coming on the retreat will receive a journal in the mail sent to them from little old me. You will journal the week before you come on the retreat and once you arrive in Los Angeles, you'll continue to journal while you're attending the retreat.

This retreat is all about learning more about yourself and how to take better care of yourself, too.
