Guest guest Posted July 31, 2008 Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 So. That peasely .2 gain (that we are calling a maintain this week) didn't do too horribly for me. I took my measurements and I lost 2 inches "this month". I lost (by my scale) 7.2 lbs in July!! For a total of 14.8 this year!! That's way better than I was giving myself credit for last night!! OK. So the goal is to continue to be a good girl (LOL) for the month of August (BUT I *am* having cake or pie tomorrow and anything else (within limits and moderation) for lunch because I CAN!! It's my b-day tomorrow and if I want to, I can have it. I might even declare it a points-free day LOL!! That remains to be determined. July, I would say around 1/2 the month was crummy for exercising due to the heat. So, hopefully August will be better. Not holding my breath over that one. It's my goal for this 8 week challenge I'm participating in to lose 16.8 lbs ya know, so that means my August goal "should" be for half of that and to lose 8.4 lbs. Told ya it was steep. At 2.1 lbs per week loss, it could be exciting. Eh, and this is also why it remains to be seen what I will actually do tomorrow with my eating <wink> Anyway. Hope you all have a great weekend. I don't know what I will be up to tomorrow for my b-day yet and then Saturday is the company picnic at the baseball game. We take over the baseball field for 2 hrs before the game for the fun, games, etc of the picnic, then get to watch the game for free and there are fireworks afterward. EXCITING!! Love fireworks!! Note to self: smuggle in food or eat before the picnic/gameYou *KNOW* there is nothing much healthy at the baseball field, !! in WA310/246.8/170 (-63.2 total, 76.8 to go, 6.8 from half-way point) I've lost 68.5 inches!!Conditions are never just right.
