Guest guest
HURRY!!! Saturday, 18 October 2008 Come on now! Hurry up and lose that weight. You've wasted so much time already trying to lose it. Don't waste any more! Chop, chop! Let's go! If you really lower your calories...a lot and you exercise everyday, say, four hours a day, you could lose 20-30 pounds in just one month! Hey, would that be exciting or what? Think about it. Why, in just three months, you could lose almost 100 pounds! Okay, so you may end up hospitalized for a few days but it's worth the gamble, isn't it? That's because the faster you lose the weight, the better a person you'll become. Oh, yeah! You're terrific. You're outstanding because you lost all of that weight and...so quickly! Oh, good for you. In fact, let me get up from my keyboard for a moment to give you a big round of applause...hoo-r-a-a-a-y for you!Now you know, I'm being really very tongue-in-cheek about all this, don't you? But, the truth is, a lot of you out there really do want or try to lose this weight overnight. Go ahead and admit it. You want to close your eyes at night and wake up in the morning a size 6 or size 8.And I know that many of you have done some very unwise things to try and lose weight in a hurry too, haven't you? You know, the main characteristic that leads us to try those unwise ways to lose weight is...impatience. Your clock goes fast and you try to apply that same fast-pace to your weight-loss. You like everything to arrive on time or ahead of time. You want things to happen in your life so-o-o fast. But uh, excuse me, that's not how you gained that weight in the first place, is it? You know, like...overnight? Well, of course not!I'm not going to lie to you. I've done some pretty unwise things to try and lose weight in my past, myself. Oh yes, I know I've not always been the most patient person in the world but I've gotten better at it with age. Here's what you've got to do. You've got to remove all of those gotta-have-it-now thoughts from your minds. You must learn to be more patient when it comes not only to weight-loss but to other areas of you life as well. So please, tell me, what's the hurry? The majority of you have lost weight in one of two ways. You've either done it in a healthy way or in an unhealthy way. And you may as well admit to yourselves that you felt much better those times when you took the healthy route to losing weight. So tick-tock, tick-tock, enjoy every moment of this beautiful day God has given you. Learn to be more patient with yourself. And if you do, you'll lose the weight in a healthy way and at a healthy paceSo what's your hurry? Slow down and lose that weight...the right way!Love,
