The best alternative to DEET is Tea Tree Oil or also known as

Melaleuca Oil. It's only $4.95 in WalMart and is also in health food

stores. You can slather it on all over you. Then just watch what the

mosquitos do! It's a great tick repellant too. You can safely dab it

on your clothing. I even use it in my rinse load as an antifungal

antibacterial.

Just be carefull with tea tree oil, as it can burn you full strength-

and never use it internally, as one woman I know did, and ended up in

the hospital after using it as a dilute douche
