Guest guest
> *****I still need to know " What things " I should get tested for to > find out how to prove I have been exposed to a bad environment< As Dr Shoemaker explains, just as a physicist " sees " a neutrino by the trail it leaves, biotoxin mediated illnesses are identified by testing the immunological response after exposure. There isn't a test that you can ask your doctor to order that simply identifies the problem in a way that overrules his disbelief. Even if a normal doctor saw signs of an abnormal response it wouldn't mean anything specific to him unless he understands that the upregulation corresponds to an enviromental toxin exposure. The only way a doctor gets his " foot in the door " to understanding how to test for illness is to first accept that the patient is accurately describing a physiological response, and then measure markers of inflammatory response as they change in correlation to these irritants. Most of them simply don't bother to even try to open that door and dismiss signs of illness as idiopathic. For years, when I asked doctors to simply step out of their offices and test for a response which correlates to areas of mold, they would say " I don't have to because I know it is impossible and if there WERE any response, it would be generated by your hysterical response to an unreal belief that mold is toxic " . I told the story in an old post about a doctor who actually took me up my challenge to step out of his box and witness mold for himself. He almost collapsed and wound up running for his life - made an instant believer out of him. Unfortunately, all that did was make him another " Hysterical Mold Sufferer " since he had fewer answers than I did. The first chore is to locate a doctor who understands 'cause-effect' logic and is willing to be open minded enough to look for a correlation. Then that doctor needs to make the association between known locations that have been tested for specific molds and YOUR markers of inflammatory upregulation listed in the back of Mold Warriors. It is the manner of interpetation of these tests that allows identification of biotoxin mediated illness and not just the test itself. -
