Guest guest
Dear Sickbuildings Subscribers, We all know how devastating the mold issue can be to one's life. And we all know how frustrating and scary it is to feel alone with no help. I belong to another group. It is primarily made up of the industrial hygiensts, remediators, microbiologists, and others who work within the mold industry. Although we sometimes feel like the prey of some disreputables within these industries, you all should be aware that as a whole, these industries are working very hard to correct the problem. These guys are on the " frontlines " . They see what we are going through. They don't like it either. Just thought you might like to know that there are many, not just mold victims who are working hard to help you! Here is a post I put on their board yesterday. I was asked to share it with you all on : To all of those who graciously responded off board about what you know > of how to effectively gather governmetal disclosure information. > Thank you! > > We are slowly but surely making the wheels turn for the families that > have, and continue to be devastated because of the mishandling of the > mold issue. > > I am constantly complaining on this board about mold victims not being > able to get any help. MAJOR FAUS PAUX on my part! > > I want you all to know that I think you who work within the " frontline " industries that deal with the actual prevention and removal of the mold itself have been absolutely fantastic. From my perpective, what I see is that your industries are definately working hard and making great progress toward a solution to this problem. > > The only " frontline " industry that seems to be fighting the reality of the problem and not working toward a solution is the medical community. It appears to me, they are the ones who are generating the most income through the courts and on a variety of levels from > denying the situation. They are the ones the insurance and other stakeholder industries have been most effective in corrupting. Such a shame and a waste of human lives. > > But the good news is, even if we mold health advocates are not successful at getting through to the good doctors who really do what to change lives, you all's efforts are saving many lives everyday from the properly handling of mold itself in the first place. > > Sharon >
