It's believed the mold may have come from persistent roof leaks. " We're not going to take any chances with the health and welfare of our workers, " said County Manager Guesto, Jr. He went on to say the 24 people who work in the building will be allowed to gather their belongings Thursday and will report to alternate job sites. " We'd rather err on the side of safety, and have workers out of the building until tests for mold are taken and analyzed, " said city engineer Dougherty. The Office of Magisterial District Judge ph Zola will continue to operate in the Hazleton area and those having probation hearings before Judge Zola will be advised of the location. As of Wednesday afternoon, temporary annex sites in Hazleton were being evaluated. Officials hope to have services up and running by early next week. In the mean time, residents of southern Luzerne County who need the services of the affected departments will have to go to the courthouse in Wilkes-Barre.
