Guest guest
KC, Regarding your refering the group to Drs Shaughnessy and Cole concerning ozone, FYI: Dr. Shaughnessy will present his latest research on air purifiers, including ozone generators, at the IAQA-AmIAQ-IESO national unification conference in Orlando on Sat, Oct 8, at 5 PM. The conference runs Oct 6-9. Full program and registration details are available at: www.iaqa.org/attendee_registration_05_3.pdf Other presenters of interest to this group include Dr. Chin Yang of Aerotech P & K on Indoor Ecological Factors with Mold Growth. Dr. Blanca Cortes of EMSL Analytical on A Stachybotrys Survey. Dr. Payam Fallah of EMLabs on Analysis of Mold from Indoor Samples. Sam Rashkin of EPA Energy Star IAQ Program, Lantz of EPA Antimicrobials Div and Steve Vesper of EPA Office of Research and Development. I will be leading a panel discussion of national experts on Thurs, Oct 6, from 1-5 pm titled: Mold Standards & Guidelines: Exploring the Different Methods of Defining Contamination Levels and Applying Them to Practice. The goal is to find areas of agreement for the purpose of developing a unified method for defining contamination. This is a professional conference and is quite expensive but if any of you can make it or live in the area I'd like to meet you. Guest guest
Carl, This would be a great opportunity for anyone that could attend this conference. I've been lucky enough in the past to be at several of these and I enjoyed more than ever meeting people like yourself and to see what the industry is really trying to do to educate the public. Along with new products that are becoming available for more accurate evaluations. I would do almost anything to attend this conference and hopefully by that time things will be looking up that will make this possible. KC --- In , " Carl E.
