For the past 3 decades, Vasavya has been working in the rural as well as urban areas in the coastal districts of AP. Vasavya is now supporting 10 NGOs in implementing the Home / Community based HIV/AIDS Care & Support Programme in 6 coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. Assistant Program Officer: Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Social Work / Social Sciences or equivalent degree with minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in social issues such as HIV/AIDS or other health related work and programmatic issues on HIV/AIDS. Good oral and written communication skills in English and Telugu. Must have computer skills. Responsibilities: Documentation, MIS, Reporting and Monitoring. Specific requirements (in addition to general requirements noted above): The post holder must be accurate, timely, knowledgeable, well organized and with very strong analytical skills. The post holder should expect to travel at least 25-35 % of time Should have the capacity building skills. Should have at least 3 years experience in HIV/AIDS care and support/prevention linked to care Salary: Rs. 10,000/- consolidated per month.
