Guest guest
You are NOT being paranoid. Your gut instinct is right- it does sound like both a mold problem and like it is making lots of people sick. The very best thing you can do is move right away. The managers are not going to admit to a problem, and most people are unaware anyway. You will be helping your children if you do. You can save their health. Most doctors do not recognise a mold illness when they see it, even one that is well documented in the literature, like Valley Fever. Some people die from that, as well. is probably right about leaving everything you own behind. It is all contaminated with the mold, which sounds like the toxic type to me, if you are that sick in that little time. You will recover faster without it all. If you can't move now, try to find a place you can stay for a week and see if you are better. Your kids sound young enough that missing a week or two of school is not going to make much of a difference no matter what the teachers say. It might be a good test for you to try while you think about what to do for the long haul. When the workers were tearing out my moldy shower, they got sick with what looked like an upper respiratory flu- it masquerades as that, flus and colds, sometimes without fever, sometimes with VERY high fevers. My girlfriend died from the high fever with valley fever, another fungal disease. Some people get extremely tired (fatigue) from mold exposure, so it is better to get out while you still have the energy. Good Luck and best wishes, K.Clayton
