Faith, there is a simple vision test called the VCS Test (Visual Contrast

Sensitivity Test). The first part of the nervous system exposed to toxins is

the optic nerve behind the eye. Dr. Shoemaker says that they have used this

test for 40 years. If you have been exposed to toxins, it will affect this

nerve and you will probably not pass the test. The " failure " is set at a high

mark, so that way a " positive " (failure) is a 'true' positive. But if you pass

the test, that still does not mean that you have not been exposed.....sorry, but

it is kind of confusing.

As far as getting the toxins out of your system, Dr. Shoemaker and others have

identified certain people who can't get them out, which is why he prescribes

cholestyramine. It is an old cholesterol drug which is also an ion-binding

resin that binds the toxins and gets them out of the body in the bile.

Otherwise, they remain indefinitely.

Go to www.chronicneurotoxins.com and it has info on the VCS test. Then go to

www.moldwarriors.com and get his book if you can. It has a chapter called the

Biotoxin Pathway and you will finallly learn the physiological changes that make

us sick. We all know we are sick, now we know why.

Good luck.

can anyone tell me if there are tests that can be performed by a doctor

that can determine that you have toxic mold in your system? Also, can

it ever be totally removed from your body? I am totally ignorant to

all aspects of toxic mold poisoning. Please help. Thank you
