Guest guest
I thought I should tell you that lived in my trailer which I believe had mold the whole time for several years before starting to feel bad and then I started smelling the burning odor about a year before I almost died before I got out. I left a couple of weeks ago. The first four night I stayed in motels. I would feel better driving through the day with the windows slightly open and the I would start feeling worse after in the room for awhile and by morning, I would be back really ill. I finally decided that living in a tent was worth trying and last night was my sixth night and I started feeling better two days ago. I did go to a moutainous, arid area and though still hot in day, gets to about 60 at night. I thought about going to the mountains of New Mexico where it is not over 75 but I was smelling every odor very strong and the thought of smelling cedar trees wasn't pleasant. If you go through the same cycle that I did, you and your family could be coming down very ill and then you feel so bad that it is hard to think about what to do and the energy to do it. I must tell you that I have had CFS for 30 years and that is a weakened immune system to begin with and maybe normal people wouldn't get as ill as I did. It originated in our master bedroom, and now is identified in most exterior wall caviities. During the spring, we were suffering from the effects of the mold which was aggravated by the wet weather. We have photos of the water coming through the block. Now we have experienced a very dry summer here in Florida, and the noticable odor and symptons have eased. The only smell I can identify is one of smoke, as if there had been a mild fire. Has anyone experienced anything similar or can tell me if once the mold is exposed to water again, will our health problems resurface?
