Dear Dr. revankar

Your suggestion is laudable. There are already associations for TB such as TB

and Chest diseases workers Association. Since HIV has come into the country in a

big way, the dictum has to be modified now as HIV medicine, since the condition

encompasses almost all systems in the body. However TB has become an integral

part of HIV. It is better to have a combined association, where both medical and

non-medical people can participate.
