We have had very good success with sublingual Magnesium 50 mg (under the

tongue). If high blood pressure, it will lower and fill the intracellular Mg

levels which are routinely low. New study out shows magnesium is routinely low

in diet. Calcium displaces inside cells in basic physiology texts.

On sees Mg used in spasms of the uterus that are too early. I has been used in

Obstetrics for many years.

Any compounding pharmacist should be able to make, and is prescription, since

the FDA considers any nutrient not swallowed as a drug.

[] Leg Cramps - update

All, Thank you for all of the helpful suggestions. Here is a summary of what

you mentioned (forgive me if I forget one):

1. 500 mg magnesium

2. Hyland's Leg Cramp w/ Quinine remedy

3. Copper

4. Tiger Balm

5. Doppler Test for blood clots

6. Massage

7. Acupuncture

8. Chiropractor

9. Vit D

A combo of Magnesium, Hyland's remedy w/ quinine, Tiger Balm and Vitamin D

seem to be working very well. The pain is 90% less! Thank you all for your

suggestions. I'm going to walk our golden retrievers for the first time in 4

days! Blessings upon you.

If I don't take calcium (one with D and one with Zinc & Magnesium), I

get cramps all over my body....nasty charley horses in legs and feet,

rib cage, under shoulder blades (most painful), etc.
