If high blood pressure, it will lower and fill the intracellular Mg levels which are routinely low. New study out shows magnesium is routinely low in diet. Calcium displaces inside cells in basic physiology texts. On sees Mg used in spasms of the uterus that are too early. I has been used in Obstetrics for many years. Any compounding pharmacist should be able to make, and is prescription, since the FDA considers any nutrient not swallowed as a drug.
