Ref: Geoff Heaviside suggestion on Indian HIV Association

Dear Moderator,

Like any other professional associations, it is a welcome idea of

thinking of Indian HIV Association to bring professionals and

practitioners together and promote anti-HIV/AIDS work on a scientific

platform.

As the association between HIV and TB is high including MDR-TB, it may

be worth considering to have an integrated association( Indian HIV & TB

Association) so that professionals and practitioners of both the

programmes meet together and develop integrated strategies/clinical

approaches to deal with these two gigantic public health problems in

India.
