No, I don't get them from the growers. Usually, I get them at Whole Foods - or

at least someplace where they are stored in open containers so I know what I'm

getting. I think Blue Diamond is just a brand name used by a reseller. This

wasn't even the first time I reacted to Blue Diamond's stuff. The other time was

pecans packaged in a plastic bag. So - double dunce. Plus, they were stale. I

think that, although the nuts may have been fine when they came off the tree,

they could have been left sitting for any amount of time before packaging. And

then, you have no way of ascertaining how much moisture was packaged in with the

product. " Dry-roasted " would imply...you know, DRY. Apparently not. Or, at

least, not dry when the packaging was done.
