Guest guest
Being that Mold seems on the rise anyway, and Katrina affected an area 90,000 square miles, plus more from Rita... A) Is that Nightmare growth of Mold spores going to spread and affect other areas in US? How the hell are sensitive or other people surviving this? C) What exactly should be done about it, and any chance of that happening? Sorry if these are stupid questions, or have been covered. Between this, and that NOLA must be the most chemically toxic place on the planet, I cannot believe people are returning/re-opening. (I know you've brought this up). I also do not know the exact geography and distance that would be safe. I have friends with family in surrounding areas. KatrinaM

I think that people will return and go into the denial mode that has kept " the mycotoxin connection " secret for so many years. Even when one knows full well, the denial factor is incredible. As I've said on for so many years, I've led CFSers into bad places and had them experience " mold hits " , and then they return to me later and say " I really thoought you were on to something because I could feel it myself - but my doctor says that mold reactivity is impossible " and then drop the concept. I think that the problem may eventually result in the total abandonment of New Orleans, but only after a protracted struggle with acceptance. How are sensitive people going to survive? Many will not. Some will figure it out in time and get out. People are going to be tried and tested in a way that will allow a chance to show their true quality. So far, it has been the very poorest. -
