Guest guest
Hello all: I lived last year in a building that had horrible mold in the apartment below mine. I had extreme fatigue, dizzy spells, numbness in my extremities, loss of balance, burning eyes, memory/focus problems and other frustrations and annoyances. But my experience was very limited compared to my neighbor downstairs who developed a seizure disorder, fungal skin sores (as did his dog), and asthma. He died unexpectedly last fall at 36. His mother, who had similar symtoms to mine, feels in her gut that mold led to his death and we have been wanting to do forensic blood/tissue testing. Has anyone had experience with this? We've found a couple labs that deal with live folks. We've written to hundreds of colleges and universities and people labs and livestock labs/schools and the CDC and public agencies in several states, and folks in Canada and the EU and mycologists and forensic pathologists and anyone else I stumbled upon over the last few months. The most common answer I have received is to look in the yellow pages. If anyone has any suggestions from their own searches I would be enormously grateful. Thank you, -Haley
