Guest guest
I am suffering from chronic and acute exposure to mycotoxins. I have a basic question about the biology of this illness. As I have noted in prior posts, I have been in stage two mycotoxicosis for about four weeks with trembling hands, memory loss, fog, hearing loss, loss of balance. I have read most of the Shoemaker,Schaller Mold Warriors book. More power to these healers! However, most of this book deals with the long run effects as the body fails to respond well to toxins it cannot shed. Cytokines rise MSH falls , etc. However, other sources, including a paper I just read on the three stages of mycotoxicosis entitled " Pathology of Trichothecene Mycotoxins in Man " , seem to emphasize the direct destructive impact of trichotene etc in the body. Croft seems to say that the toxins get in and right off start to destroy all the organs in the body. This seems right to me. I seem to experience acute effects that are continuing without much let up For example, my right hand was almost paralyzed for about six hours after wiping up one patch of mold which I thought was dirt. This would seem to be a direct effect of the mycotoxins attacking the nervous system? I would also like to know whether anyone can tell me to what extent my current symptoms are likely to be permanent?
