I'M PACKING!

Okay, 14 pairs of socks, 18 pair of

underwear, uhhhh, oh...hello everyone! I'm

so sorry. You caught me right in the middle of

packing! Today is not only Friday but it's a very special Friday.

See, today, I'm packing for our exciting Hooray

For Hollywood Cruise To Lose! I've done 29

of my cruises so the one we're about to embark on

will be...my 30th!

I don't know how I'm going to get all of

these things into two suitcases, four steamer trunks

and six hat boxes.

Oh! I really don't know how I'm going to get all of

these things into just two suitcases, four steamer

trunks and six hat boxes. LOL. Okay, you know I'm

just kidding. I'll get it all into two suitcases.

(But honestly, I may actually have to buy myself a

third!)

, the wonderful lady who makes all of my

outfits, has made me four beautiful jogging suits to

wear on the cruise. They're marigold, coral, purple

and blue, all great colors! And, because she made

them just for my little body,

they all fit perfectly! I'm also packing tank tops

and shorts to wear during the fun and

informative seminars we'll have on the ship.

I'll have six big sweatin' classes to teach on the

cruise and that means I'll be wearing a different

costume for each class. For every class, I'll be

coming on stage as a different character. Oh,

that's a

lot of

outfits. So, as you can see, I've got to make room

for all of my costumes, too. And let me tell you,

these fabulous outfits are hard to pack. (I'm

staring at my gold lame ensemble now. I know

everyone's gonna love it!)

Also on the ship, we have two formal nights where we

get all dolled up for dinner. That means I have to

pack sports coats, slacks and shirts. Hmmm, maybe

I'll wear a bow tie one night next week. Well, I'll

think about it. But wait, I'm not done!

I have to pack pajamas, T-shirts, plenty of

music and, of course, my beauty products.

Since this will be our Hooray

For Hollywood Cruise, we're gonna be having a

big Hollywood costume party where everyone has to

come dressed as their favorite Hollywood movie

star. So there's anothercostume

I have to pack. Plus, I have to pack pajamas,

T-shirts, plenty of music and, of course, my beauty

products. (Hey, can't forgetthem!) I must

confess, it seems every year I get older, I'm addingmore beauty

products. It used to take me only five minutes in

the morning but now, you don't even want to know how

long it takes me to get this beautiful. LOL.

I know you've been on trips where you made a list of

all the things you needed to pack, just like me.

But you know what? I always think I've forgotten

something. Did you ever have to unpack a suitcase

full of stuff looking for the one thing you're

afraid you forgot to pack? You may be laughing

right now but, admit it...you've probably done it,

too!

As I pack this morning, I'm so excited. See, since

we're leaving from Los Angeles, everyone who comes

on the cruise comes to LA first. We're having our

big Red

Carpet Bon Voyage Party at

Slimmons tomorrow night.

I'm smiling as I pack, thinking about all

the friends I'm about to see again.

haven't seen since our cruise out of New Orleans

last year. And a lot of them I haven't seen in

years. I'm telling you, my cruises always end up

being like little family reunions.

Hattie is sitting here watching me as I pack with

those big brown eyes of hers. She'll miss me and,

of course, I'll miss her, too. But I

know Hattie understands and wants me to go help all

of my friends during our adventure at sea.

Gosh, I hope I can close this suitcase!
