Guest guest
A JAM-PACKED DAY! Friday, 28 October 2011 Well. we've visited all of our ports and now, for these next two days, everyone is mine...all mine! And believe me, I'm gonna work everybody really hard today. They've all gotten stronger this week so I know they're ready for our jam-packed day! I love to see everybody smiling and dancing away first thing in the morning. We'll begin with our Rise & Shine class at 7:30 and today, we're waking up to another pair of great songs, Boom, Boom Tequila and Funkytown. I love to see everybody smiling and dancing away first thing in the morning. That little early morning sweat is good for our bodies and our souls. We'll have breakfast in the Gold Pearl restaurant and this morning, I think I'll have just one pancake. I'll cut it into little squares, spray it with some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter then top it with a few fresh strawberry slices. When I was growing up, I loved the cute little silver-dollar sized pancakes my father made for us at breakfast. I'd usually have a dozen of them! Oh how I miss those days of having breakfast with my family on St. Louis Street back home in New Orleans. Today, we're honoring Warner Brothers studios. Did you know Warner Brothers really was a group of brothers? (There were four of them.) They did Rin Tin Tin, The Jazz Singer, 42nd Street and brought us those animated classics, Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig. Those cartoons were pure genius because all of these many years later...they're still funny! Warner Brothers also did My Fair Lady, Bonnie & Clyde and one of the scariest movies I've ever seen...House of Wax! When I look out at my Cruisers, I can see lots of them mouthing the words to the songs as they sweat along with me. Today in the Spectacular Lounge, we'll get in another great Sweatin' class together. Again, I'm playing more old movie music. When I look out at my Cruisers, I can see lots of them mouthing the words to the songs as they sweat along with me. It's as if they were on stage performing at my side. Oh, it's like a Hollywood musical duet! LOL. After we've done the first couple of numbers, I can see everyone starting to sweat! Oh boy, now I know they're putting everything into their workouts and that makes me want to sweat more! Let's go, gang! After lunch, we return to the El Morocco Lounge where we'll have a seminar called Happy Thoughts. You know how easy it is for a negative or bad thought to enter your mind, don't you? In fact, some people dwell on those bad thoughts all day and hey, that's way too long. You need to knock those bad thoughts out of your mind and counter them with some good, happy thoughts. In this seminar, everyone will write down three happy thoughts they can think of that will put them in a better mood when they're feeling blue. We'll have a break following our seminar and then we get all dressed up again for our second formal night. Tonight, I will go from table to table and take group shots with everyone. After a week of having the same dining partners at meal times, everyone ends up getting very close. This photo is one that everybody cherishes. After visiting every table and taking photos at each one, then I can eat! LOL. My Cruisers have been sowing the right things this week because the numbers on the scale prove it! Oh, and get this. A few people told me yesterday that they went up to the ship's spa and weighed themselves. They were thrilled to discover they'd already lost a few pounds! I'm telling you, I could see the excitement in their faces. You know what I tell them? You reap what you sow! And obviously, my Cruisers have been sowing the right things this week because the numbers on the scale proved it! So, have you been sowing the right things and staying on program with us this week? I hope so! Love,
