Guest guest
I would like to just put a quick comment in here on this dust and mold subject. 2 weeks ago I had to pull the kids out of school as they were both getting sick. But, only at school. As many of you know we went thru this last year with our portable. The district agreed to get the school tested, as my daughters 504 states, she must attend a mold free environment. The district allowed me to talk to the company that would be doing the testing. To make sure it was done properly. I had only asked for the kids 2 rooms to be tested. While talking to the inspector, and after talking to KC and Sharon, I asked that they take lifts out of the ducts and HVAC unit. To our surprise, no alarming #'s of mold found in the classrooms. But, the duct work and HVAC (the dust samples) came back around 50% mold. So, everytime that HVAC would come on they would get a face full of it. Now had we just did air samples in the rooms, we would not know that the HVAC was loaded with it, making the kids sick. Just thought I'd share that with all of you. I'll also add, that last year I requested a test in the new part of the school that runs on a separate unit, and is separate from the old part of the school. It was clear. So the district will be bringing in a tutor for the kids starting Monday morning, and they can get back to school. Then after the old part of the school is cleaned they will return to their normal routine, after we get clearance testing and it is negative. Guest guest
Yes , my BP dropped to a low level and my doctor pulled me out of work after I passed out. I had rapid heart rate and broke out in a drenching sweat and plop...landed right on the floor .. The same thing happened to me only Drs. thought I was having a heart attact. My PB was low, I was sweating, racing heart, my chest felt like it had bricks sitting on it & felt faint. Heart cath proved my heart to be in excellent condition, SO I was told it was stress & given lexapro!! A yr. and a half later I found out what the REAL problem was. No longer at the school, am a pt. of Dr. Shoemaker's and feeling 100% better!! Haven't even had a common cold since I left 2 yrs. ago!!!! Sue Yes , my BP dropped to a low level and my doctor pulled me out of work after I passed out. I had rapid heart rate and broke out in a drenching sweat and plop...landed right on the floor. Guest guest
, I was exposed to toxic mold in my school and was sick all the time. Any easy way to find out if you have a toxic illness is go to _www.chronicneurotoxins.com_ (http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com) and take the VCS test. It is only $8.95 and 98% accurate!!! Sue Sue, What was the REAL problem, what caused your symptoms, what did they tell you? My doc said mine was low potassium but now that my K level is up, I am still having problems with BP ( it is lower), chest pain and tender belly but my IBS has disappeared totally (thank GOD). Guest guest
When I was first exposed it spiked to 194/120. Then I started on BP meds. I had the doc lower the dose because my BP starting dropping very low. Was in the hospital with chest pains a few weeks ago and my BP was 51/33. They ran blood test and I had very ,very low potassium levels. After my last IVIG treatment on the 5th, it went to 111/69. A little better. :-) Marcie <toria@...> wrote: THANKS, BOBBIE. V. Guest guest
THAT'S GOOD BP, 111/69, MARCIE. I'M GLAD TO HEAR ITS BETTER. MY BP INITIALLY WAS LIKE 160/100, DUE TO THE INTENSEEEEEEEEEE PAIN. LATER IT DROPPED TO 64/40.......BUT WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SAME SCENARIO, THE SAME SITUATION HERE. YOUR PROBLEMS STEMMED FROM K+ LEVELS......MINE WAS FROM CNS DAMAGE. TAKE CARE, HON, & GOD BLESS, VICTORIA [] Re: Mold & Dust? >>> >>> >>> > Vasoendothelial growth factor. >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> >> > > >>> >> > > >>> >> > > Katrina, the concepts being discussed in this group are >>> > irrelevant >>> >> > > to someone at my level of reactivity. >>> >> > > Which is the effect I saw in other CFSers in Incline that all >>> > doctors >>> >> > > refused to research. >>> >> > > And regarding 'that other group', I think you will find that >>> > Moldies >>> >> > > are treated with abuse similar to CFS. >>> >> > > Even despite the inability of doctors to make the excuse that >>> > they >>> >> > > cannot understand what is being described. >>> >> > > I'm on my way back to Mt Whitney for a little Fall mountain >>> >> > climbing, >>> >> > > but when I get back, I'll be in touch. >>> >> > > - >>> >> > > >>> >> > >>> >> >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > >>> > FAIR USE NOTICE: >>> > >>> > >>> >
Guest guest
, Exposure to toxic molds can cause problems to multiple organs & systems, including neurological, respiratory, & immunological. I had horrible muscle and joint pain, knife like pains in my legs, coma like fatigue, chronic sinus/allergy problems, laryngitis, blinding headaches, GI problems, shortness of breath, blurred vision, slurred speech, dizziness, muscle twitches, memory loss, itchy crawly skin, numbness/tingling, racing heart, chest tightness, the list goes on and on. Sue, I guess what I meant was How did the toxic mold cause these symptoms? What organs did they affect? The Heart? Liver? Kidney? What organ(s) was affected by toxins that causes your heart to race and BP to go so low? I do plan on taking the VCS test but $$$ is tight right now (I'm a single parent) SW
