Anyhoo. I'm not doing too much leaping for tomorrow's leap day: they're taking my mother inpatient for surgical debridement of some sort for her infected incision site. - big sigh - He (surgeon) says he's going to keep her in a couple of days. Me thinks they're goinna have her on mega doses of IV antibiotics, etc We thought it was getting better, but it blew up Monday. Call to the surgeon's office: do nothing, see him Tuesday (today) and he says "yep, taking her in to deal with it and I said good, let me know when/where" so tomorrow's the day. He did take a culture, so it will be interesting to hear what bacteria are growing in that wound. Ick. Will check in when I can on the flip side.
