I have always lived alone until I came back to live with Mother to care for her in her final years. I'd love a companion, and will eventually have one I feel. But should my final days be alone I'd be fine with it, I love having a place to myself. When I want to see people there is the internet and I know where my "live" friends live and can visit them anytime.
