Guest guest
Tonya, sorry to hear about your friend. Was he having problems? I wish people would recognize that mental illness IS an illness just like diabetes and would go get help. My neighbor's husband gets very depressed from time to time but he won't see a Dr. about it. It's sad that people suffer like that and don't or won't find any help. Take care, Jen Tonya - <trainingwithtonya@...> wrote: Hey all, I just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm still here. Guest guest
Tonya, I am SO sorry to hear this!! How HORRIBLE! You have had so much to deal with so far this year already and now this! No one is going to take offense at your not responding to things under normal circumstances but especially not under these. Just take your time and do what you need to do to take good care of yourself. Tell us when you can about your training, business, classes and workouts, we'll be interested but no pressure or rush from us! Many hugs and prayers!! Guest guest
Yeah, Jen, he was seeing a doctor about it and was on anti-depressants. The problem is that the doctor just threw pills at it and didn't get him counseling. The pills just make it worse in some people because it messes with your hormone levels and can totally screw someone up. If they had gotten him off of all the meds and gotten him some counseling, it would have been much better, but instead, the doctor just kept writing prescriptions. The doctor is now being charged with over prescribing drugs. Tonya L. -, CPTwww.smellabella.comwww.trainingwithtonya.com Re: Checking in Tonya, sorry to hear about your friend. Guest guest
I hope your friend's Dr. ends up in jail! That's terrible. My friend gets counseling at least once a month so that's better than nothing. I don't believe in all meds but a combination of meds and counseling. Guest guest
Hooray, MOLLY <:-) it's fun to be reading your posts again -- Now you've made me hungry 'cause I really LOVE almonds & cranberries, LOL Got in my 5-10-5 minutes of LifeLift & Belly-Rub in BED this morning, and will report in on the mini-workouts I do on my breaks at work... YES, just as you said: One week off LifeLift & on " hill hiking " made me GAIN 5 pounds <:-( But one week back on LL & off " mountain climbing " made me lose 5 pounds, while expending only a fraction of the time & effort <:-) plus, LifeLift BOOSTS my energy instead of exhausting it !!! Your friend, CC " Keep on LifeLift flex-breathing <:-) It works! Guest guest
Hi Molly, I hope with all that time in the car you have the car audio workout??? I put mine on my mp3 player so I always have it with me. The other day I decided to put the origional video on my mp3. Not the whole thing, just certain sections of it. Not in video either, just some of the sections where Rashelle is giving specific directions. That way when I need it I have it with me. You sure put in a lot of time in the car do you have the car workout? Karma checking in ok day started early for me again but i did 25 LL breaths before i got out of bed . Then had a doctors apointment for hubby . got there just to find out he had put the wrong date on the calander and we had to reschedule. Then went and paid phone an internet bill. went and got insurance for the car oh joy the state dropped my one insurance and i had to get that streightened out . So there went the money i had saved to get my LL set : O( maybe in march i can get it they say they will have the insurance fixed by then silly people in the state who get paid 50,000 a day to mess up my life lol.Lets see then i drove a hour to pick up hubbys meds. Did 15 more breaths at traffic lights so got in my 40 breaths . Then picked up clothing at a consignment shop went to church and sorted it , delivered it to a mission and drove to another town and picked up another load of clothing back to church sorted and delivered it to another mission. Picked up a third load and brought it home sorted it and will deliver it on sat.Picked up some groceries on the way home and now i need to shower and breath lol then i can play on the internet for the night as hubby watches tv. Guest guest
Karma right now i dont have anything i loaned my origional tape to a friend who lost it : O ( .I love the idea of putting it on mp3 but i will probably have to get hubby to change the sound levels for me he does that with my sermon tapes from church ( i'm phonitically deaf you see and cant hear a lot of tones so he fixes them so i can ). I keep trying to decide if i should just get the car audio tape ( i drive a lot for the church every week with the clothing ministry ) and see if hubby can fix it for me , or get the tapes again or the dvds now and see if i can understand the sounds or at least read Rashelles lips so i can follow it. When i first found this sites years ago i spents weeks reading and re-reading all of the posts discribing how and when to breath to hold the breath so that the tape i had made more sense to me ( you all were so helpfull and you didn't even know you were helping me that way ). It all gets rather frustrating at time . The good news is with this insurance mess with our state i have some time to figuer this out lol. Guest guest
You met the gastroenteroligist and will be having an endoscope on the 17th? Support your friendly local autistics...........I'm one of them. Checking in Hi all,Hope all of you had a peaceful day today. If you live in the Great USA, hope the freedom we have is a joy to each of you. I met the gastroenterologist & will be having a endoscope on the 17th. I've been having problems with what could be acid reflux so my primary physician told me to so see this Doctor. I've been taking my Acidphex & watching what I eat. I don't eat much during the day, just a little something every couple of hours then I eat dinner no later than 6:30 PM. That has apparently helped (so far). I have to really limit myself on the spicy foods too. Take care. PottsCincinnatiMusic is a gift from God
Guest guest
Hi , Good Luck with the scope...I had one when my stomach was acting up and it's not so bad. I also found that eating 6-8 small meals a day helps quite a bit. Also eating yogurt to balance the amount of sugar and starch in the bowel can help you feel more comfortable. And one more thing, if you don't mind the taste, ginger tea will settle your tummy and feel great. Feel better soo. H.,PA
