Guest guest
Hi KC, I did not know too much about the Santa Fe dehumidifier I bought other than it was big, very heavy, expensive, fairly quiet, and very efficient on electricity. It had two features that I believe ALL dehumidifiers SHOULD have. The Santa Fa come with a 16 X 20 X 2 inch filter MERV 8 which I changed to a MERV 15. Keeps the coils cleaner, keeps more spores off the coils. It also has a switch that will keep the fan running even when the compressor shuts off. This feature will dry out the coils so they do not sit there wet and growing molds etc, a must feature IMHO. Just my $.02's worth. Guest guest
I like their dehumidifiers but their air purifier section is most ozone producing devices. So be cautious. If it doesn't have a fan then it probably produces ozone.
