Guest guest
TWELVE DAYS 'TIL CHRISTMAS Tuesday, 13 December 2011 So have you gotten those six geese-a-laying yet? LOL. Oh, who doesn't love that classic holiday song,The Twelve Days Of Christmas? And wouldn't you know it? Today is December 13th and oh yes, count 'em, that means there're only twelve days 'til Christmas. I can't believe it. (Where has the year gone?) With all of the many things you have going on for the next twelve days, I'm asking you to please...don't forget about YOU! I'm sure that, like me, most of you have been going gung ho-ho-ho getting ready for the biggest holiday of the year. Most of your homes are decorated by now, aren't they? (I know mine is!) Is there a beautiful Christmas tree in your living room? Is there a big wreath on the front door and twinkle lights hanging from your roof? Some of your are probably still writing and mailing your Christmas cards. (I love getting Christmas cards the old-fashioned way, via snail mail.) Is all of your Christmas shopping done? And maybe you have a big holiday party you're still making plans for. Oh, just so much to do, so much to do. But with all of the many things you have going on for the next twelve days, I'm asking you to please...don't forget about YOU! Too many people use this hectic holiday season as an excuse for not paying close attention to their eating habits and getting in their workouts. But hey, these busy days may seem like a good excuse for you to go off program but...they're not! I mean, think how good you'll feel when Christmas morning arrives, knowing you stayed true to your weight-loss program...all through the holidays. Honestly, what better way to show yourself that you can do it than when you're so busy but still making time to get your workouts in and say no to all of the holiday food temptations coming your way? Twelve days 'til Christmas...that means twelve hours of workouts and twelve days of meal-planning. Twelve days 'til Christmas...that means twelve hours of workouts and twelve days of meal-planning. And by staying on track, that means twelve days of compliments you'll be able to give yourself for being true to you and your goal! Look, you can either gain or lose weight in these twelve days 'til Christmas. So, which is it going to be? If you stay true to your weight-loss program, you'll see a weight-loss and not a weight-gain by the time Santa arrives. And oh yes, when you see those numbers on your scale go down, then I say you would have definitely earned those...five golden rings!
