grumbling a lot: present and accounted for

I was "supposed to" go to CA today to see hunny, but 18 inches of snow later, rain expected this weekend (therefore flooding) and then another storm Monday/Tuesday made me cancel.

Mom's having hip replacement surgery and I really needed to consider keeping her healthy. If she gets a cold, it will turn into either pneumonia or bronchitis and then she couldn't have her surgery, you know? So this allows her to not have to haul kids to and fro and stuff.
