FAITH Dear Faith: Faith I'm so sorry to read that your two sons and your 2 year old granddaughter have been affected by the mold also. It must be very difficult for them not being able to work due to severe illness and for you to have to see them suffer so. Are they under any professional medical care? Please do share with us what your two sons' symptoms are from the toxic mold and also your little granddaughter. Since we are all different in our responses to toxic mold, we are always interested in learning. I'm so sorry and thank you for sharing with us, Rosie
Guest guest
Same story, different doctors.....both my sons have blurred vision, extreme forgetfulness, extreme agitation, joint pains, chronic allergy and sinus conditions, continuous cough, headaches and weight loss. My grandaughter has had a chronic cough for several months and " tummy ache " . She wasn't exposed as highly as the 3 of us. only, every other weekend, as she was coming to my house for weekend visits. My sons have been to allergists, with testing done saying allergic to pretty much everything.(mold) My 19 yr old has been to different doctors for the past 2 yrs with sinusitis diagnoses and treated with steroids and antibotics, which gave him relief for apx a week, then, symptoms came back. Has lost 40 lbs. My symptoms are the most severe, extreme fatigue, continuous uti's about every other month for a yr, bad headaches, stomach cramps, numbness in arms, memory loss, rashes, too many to list, and all the doctors I have been to can only find urinary tract infections, and elevated white blood count for many months. They thot I had Lupus, got blood test back today and it is negative for Lupus. Doctor is confused. The pediatrician suggested we carry my grandaughter to Childrens Hospital in Little Rock and sugested we find some sort of specialist for our conditions, just not sure what kind of specialist ,since we have problems in most organs of the body...possibly an internist???? Depleated funds are making doctor visits impossible. Does the toxic mold EVER leave the body? Just confused on all aspects of this toxic illness....Faith Healthier4All <Healthier4All@...> wrote: > I am just beginning the long journey of this illness. Guest guest
Good Morning Faith: I'm so sorry you all are so ill. I can't imagine what your two sons are feeling not being able to work, having no source of income, no funds for medical expenses or even basic necessities since you wrote your funds are depleted and making doctor visits impossible. And the poor baby, my heart aches for her especially since you don't have any money to find medical treatment for her. I cannot imagine being a Mother or Father or even grandmother as you are and having to see a 24 month old ill from mold exposure and no means to help the little thing. I'm so sorry. It seems the only positive note you have right now is that you and your 2 sons are able to live with your parents and they are feeding you and providing your basic needs. They must be wonderful parents. Faith have you been able to contact the doctor suggested to you who is about a 2 hour drive from you. If I recall said he has helped others with similar illness and symptoms and he's more than willing to work with you all regarding payment? Are you and your sons able to apply for workman's compensation, unemployment, food stamps, etc or any type of assistance since you all are too ill to return to work? Are there not government programs available for those who cannot work but have been employed? Faith, I'm curious how long did you and your two sons live in this rental house? Your 19 year old has been ill for 2 years, when did your symptoms begin? About the same time? I'm so sorry for all of you. I do hope you will be able to phone the doctor suggested who isn't that far from your home. Are you or your sons able to drive at this time or would your Sister or other family member/friends have to drive you? My heart aches for you all, Rosie > Same story, different doctors.....both my sons have blurred vision, > extreme forgetfulness, extreme agitation, joint pains, chronic allergy and > sinus conditions, continuous cough, headaches and weight loss.
