Guest guest
SWEETHEART MONTH Wednesday, 01 February 2012 Well, welcome to February, everybody! So, I have a question to ask you on this first day of the new month. Ready? Will you be my sweetheart? Oh, I hope so! Now I have to ask you another very important question. This month, will you be your own sweetheart. I hope you know how sweet you are to me. You're sweeter than the finest sugar the in the world. Oh, I hope you know how sweet you are to me. You're sweeter than the finest sugar the in the world. Oh my sweeties, no piece of chocolate could compare to any of you! Not even one of those fancy pieces of chocolate from Belgium. So now that I've asked you to be your own sweetheart and to be sweet to yourself this month, you do know how to do that, don't you? Well, just in case you don't, stick around because I'm about to tell you. I want you to be a sweetheart to yourself by getting your workouts in everyday this month. And because 2012 is a Leap Year, that means you have 29 hours of sweatin' to get in during this new month of February. I'd like to see you get in a one-hour workout each day but, if you can't, it's okay to break that one-hour daily workout into two 30-minute segments. I know how hard some of you work and also realize that, sometimes, time runs out for you in those very busy days of yours. But remember, if you want to lose weight successfully and keep it off, you've got to make those workouts part of your daily routine. Being a sweetheart to yourself means eating three healthy, well-balanced meals-a-day. Being a sweetheart to yourself means eating three healthy, well-balanced meals-a-day. And oh yes my friends, with this being Valentine's Day month, you will be tempted. In fact, someone already sent me a box of chocolates for the big day. And you know what? They went straight down my garbage disposal. I truly appreciated the thought but, trust me, the calories in those chocolates look better going down the garbage disposal than they would going around my waist! LOL. When you go grocery shopping this month, be a sweetheart by bringing only the foods into your kitchen that belong in your body. Please don't skip any meals this month, either. And one more thing, don't use your weekends as an excuse to eat your heart out, okay? Promise me that! Be a sweetheart to yourself by getting on your scale only once-a-week. Be a sweetheart to yourself by getting on your scale only once-a-week, or so. Don't drive yourself crazy weighing in every day or multiple times a day. Just weigh yourself regularly, the same time of day and chart your progress. That way, you can keep an accurate record of how your weight-loss is doing. I just received an e-mail from one of my Clubhouse members telling me that she'd gained nine pounds last month. But she hadn't been weighing herself, was eating like she wanted, (not like she should), and those pounds managed to sneak up on her. I told her that if she'd weighed herself at the start of the month, kept track of her eating, worked out faithfully and weighed herself regularly, she probably wouldn't have those additional nine pounds to deal with right now. Now lastly, be a sweetheart to yourself this month and don't take any sass from anyone. I want you to hold your head high, be strong and be proud of yourself...no matter what! If you follow my advice, you'll have the sweet smell of success and that means you'll be seeing a weight-loss too, come March 1st! Thank You for being my sweetheart. Thank You for being my sweetheart. And I hope you know, I cherish having you in my life. You sweet thing, you! Love,
