Guest guest
It's not just in this group...seems like a LOT of posts are missing out of every one of my groups. I was catching up on posts and was confused...then I realized several posts were missing. Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there to see if it's just me?? When does it NOT?) but I haven't noticed missing posts in any of the Groups lately. Do you mean they're referenced to in replies but you never got them in your email program's in-box? If so, I'll bet the email server's spam filter caught them. Go to your email server's site on-line and log in to the email. I see you have a address, so you'll just do what I do. For me, I use Thunderbird to read/write email, but my email account, Prodigy, uses Mail so I would go on-line and log in to my account then hit the Mail link. Once there, look in the Spam folder and see if you find the missing mails there. If so, you'll have to go through them one by one and mark them Not Spam. But that's not the end of it. Mail has some weird spam filters and many times they love to send just about all groups AND official mailings from itself into that spam folder. What I had to do was go to the Options/Mail Options/Filters and make a filter for every group I belong to and set it to send mail from that subject (like this one is ) to go to the in-box. NOW Mail sends me all mail that gets sent to this group. I usually have to do that with every Group I join. Many people on the unofficial moderators' Groups also found they had to do this when they realized they weren't getting list messages to their email programs but they appeared on the Group's message archives. Hope this helped. Sue in NJ
Guest guest
Okay, I didn't word that well at ALL. *lol* When I go to " messages " , the numbers jump from #55690 (posted on 5/2/2012) to #55813 (posted on 6/11/2012). But the really weird thing is that the " missing " messages seem to change! Last night when I wrote that to the group, I was missing everything from the end of April until Dragon's recent post. Frustrating! Thanks for responding, Sue! Cheers, Bonnie
