And there are a hundred reasons why you might be " up " a bit right now. I need to study up on how exactly to add exercise in to the Medifast program, so I do not start burning muscle vs fat. I don't know how the Medifast program works, but according to the doctors that wrote The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living, if you're getting enough healthy fat for fuel, your body won't go after the muscle. They also have research to support that simple resistance exercises 2x per week will prevent muscle loss, even when the pounds are dropping quickly. > Otherwise, after the vacation trip next week, May will be spent getting my head back to where it needs to be mentally to continue.
