The question is - what is good and > exact science? TRUE SCIENCE IS MESSY. Most of the people I went to school with did not consider medicine to be a true science, because so much is dependent on point of view, and is as much art as science. Still, the best medical professonals, are, in my opinion, scientifically oriented, and truly interested in their patient's experiences, as well as response to treatment. >Is it sticking dogmaticaly to the current model of > accepted facts about a certain thing (in this case about toxic molds), I don't think there are any accpeted facts about toxic mold by the medical profession in general. > or is it constant experimentation and observation of phenomena in > nature and bringing current scientific theories/facts in sync with the > observed facts? This is the nature of science. Observe, consider, and propose a model that fits all the observed facts. > > If someone's description of a phenomenon doesn't fit in the current > scientific explanation or model about that matter, it doesn't > necesseraly follow that that person is incorrect. All natural sciences are subject to this rule: If observations > do not fit in some current theory or model, the model must be either > modified or totally discarded. It is interesting how hard sciences are often unattached to certain theories, and how easy it can be to have them say " Gee whiz, how wrong we were! But, it was an elegant theory, wasn't it? Now, let's see again, what IS going on? " Like sea floor spreading. It was a theory , until it was proven to be correct. There were many disappointed geologists, in the old school, but all the youngsters were champing at the bit to get going, studying the new theory. Same with the mold stuff. The old stogies will drag their feet, but truth will win out in the end. You just can't keep truth hidden forever, that is the nature of it, however much gov'ts, churches, or other beaurocrats try to supress it. K. L.
