Guest guest
, I had lost over 80lbs several years ago and managed to keep it off for about a year. I was training for a half marathon when I threw out my back, sprained my ankle, and wound up with major surgery. I gained it all back plus another 20 I only just got the courage to try again...and I'm so thankful for this group! Best of luck to you and I look forward to following your journey Cheers, Bonnie > > I am a fellow struggler with way more than 100 pounds to lose. I work a rather sedentary job, but I'm working more exercise and healthy eating into my daily routine. Last year I took off 40 pounds and kept it off... until I had surgery and had to sit around recovering a few months doing mostly nothing! So, I put that 40 pounds right back on and I'm only about 20 pounds from my highest weight ever. I'm not happy about that, but instead of beating myself up over it, I'm getting back to being mindful about eating and exercise. > My doctor recommended some exercises that were totally too strenous. So (after straining a few muscles trying to comply), I am back to my own plan. I read these posts often, but I don't often comment. For everyone in this situation, I am cheering for all of us!! Keep trying!! You can do it! > Grace & peace, > >
