Guest guest
Okay, ladies...here's the deal: Been waking up feeling bloated and, well, just heavier somehow. But every morning I have lost weight--between .5-1 pound every day for the last week. I'm down 3.5 lbs since Monday. It's not my scale--my clothes are getting looser. Yes, this is what I wanted...but I'm afraid something might be wrong. The only thing that keeps my optimistic that I'm okay is that overall I feel fine. I'm a bit tired, but the past week or so has been *insanely* busy and I'm still walking 2-4 miles per day at a quick (for me) pace. Oh! And I've stopped all eating past 8pm in the past week. Even when I've been up 'til 2am winding yarn or editing photos. Opinions? I'm leaning toward waiting a week to see what happens, but I just don't know. There's a nagging voice in the back of my head telling me this isn't right. And then I think of the out of pocket money I'd have to spend to go to the doctor and I start to think that I ought to just wait it out. Because realistically *any* doctor would laugh at me at this point... " So let me get this straight...you have 120lbs more to lose, and you're losing it, and you're in here because you're afraid something is wrong?! " <--you know what I mean? Anyway...going to down some water. Maybe it's dehydration... Cheers, Bonnie
Guest guest
This is my take and how I would handle it: have you been eating 'right', drinking your 8+ glasses of water a day, what have you been eating (anything that would give you the gassies/bloated feeling? Have you tried beano or gas-x or something for the bloated, feeling? TMI, but how are your BMs? Personally, I'd wait it out, but you have to go with your gut feeling... are you having pain, or just the bloated feeling? should I be seeing my doctor? Guest guest
Thank you for responding, ! I have been eating right and drinking my water. The bloating is more like a PMS-type bloat...a heavy/poofy feeling, especially in my abdomen. BMs are normal. (Funny you asked that--I almost put it in my post, but figured y'all wouldn't want to know about that! *lol*) Oh, and no pain. It's just so odd. I've never lost this fast, save for the first two weeks of a plan. It's been nearly 12 weeks since I started and I keep waiting for a stall or plateau, but so far--so good! I don't know...it's just odd. Even when I went low glycemic index 12-13 years ago, I didn't lose this fast. I suppose that's why I'm concerned. Thanks again, .
