Guest guest
Why spend some $5,000(or more?) on a boob job when you can spend 45 bucks at 's Secret on a good push up bra? Stasia
Guest guest
LOL. For me it's the naked thing. I'm not doing all this work to ONLY look good IN my clothes. (Ok, I personally don't need implants, hell no, but I may need them lifting back up where they belong once I finish breastfeeding. And I know, its a choice between sagging and scarring when it comes to surgery. Haven't made that decision yet.) Guest guest
Oh! I know the answer to this one - because when that little push up number comes off and hits the floor - the boobs do too! I so very much wish I could have some work done when I am finished with this! So hard to go through all the work and then see extra skin on tummy and flat, drooping boobs. >>> s_bachrach@... 04/25/05 4:48 AM >>> Why spend some $5,000(or more?) on a boob job when you can spend 45 bucks at 's Secret on a good push up bra? Guest guest
Id spend the 5,000 to do it. When you take off that Wonder bra, you're still dealing with the same issues. I for one want permanent results > Oh! I know the answer to this one - because when that little push up > number comes off and hits the floor - the boobs do too! Guest guest
Hi! What tapes do you have now? You can buy direct from the instructors, like Cathe Friedrich (cathe.com) or The Firm (firmdirect.com) or Christi (taylordfitness.com) my three personal favorites....many of the instructors in Collage have their own websites. Some people buy from half.com too. I never have though. What kind of aerobics do you like? hi/lo? step? complex? are you intermediate? advanced? My favorite aerobics instructors are Cathe Friedrich and Christi . They are generally advanced and complex though. Does anybody know more about this? They already have great prices and free shipping...how much more do I want? ;-) But I'm getting a list ready just in case! baffled Re: new hi maria and welcome most of my videos came from cathe.com or were purchased from half.com,target, or wal-mart. lately i have been keeping a list of workouts that i can buy from deepdiscountdvd.com. i like collagevideo's site b/c i can see a clip from the workout and get a little more info on it. so i use that as my reference as of lately. what videos do you have?and what are your more favorites?i would love to here more input from you. kassia

Guest guest
hi maria!! welcome to the group!! it is really nice to meet you here. i dont live in the usa so i cant give you a recommendation on where to buy workouts vids but my american friends seem to like deepdiscountdvd.com quite a bit. for cardio, you can do step aerobics, floor aerobics (high or low impact or a mixture of both), kickboxing, walking... there are alot of choices really. if you could narrow it down a bit then we could let you know about some good workouts im sure. :*carolyn. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group - I am from Australia and have found the people on this board friendly and informative. Being a non-American there is a lot of posts in regards to the USA school system, although not all will relate there is still a lot to learn from the problems that do arise with schools. I have four children - ranging in age from 19 to 25 - Trent our child with DS will be 21 next week. My eldest two live in different parts of the world - one in England the other in Japan. Last year Trent and I visited in London and did a day trip to Lapland to visit Santa. For us who never see snow, it was a wonderful experience if only for a few hours. Keep smiling Jan, mother of Trent 20yo w/DS from the Land DownUnder New Hi I was searching for ds-groups on when I found this one. I have three children and we live in Sweden. Xerxes (with ds): He started regular Kindergarten in Homewood, AL last fall. He didn't know any English, his speech so unclear that not even we could understand most of it, couldn't color a picture and writing was years away I thought, he had a lot of accidents each day. After five months he hardly had any accidents, he loved to trace letters, he colors pretty good, his speech had become clearer (a little), he understands English without any problem. Then we had to go back home to Sweden (my husband had a five months scholarship). Back to Swedish daycare for one semester. But after the summer he will start our version of Kindergarten - a regular class. Zacharina: She is the twinsister of Xerxes. She too started in Kindergarten knowing no English. Now she both speaks and read well! They will start in the same class this fall. Majken: She is 2 years old and very communicative. She will start daycare this fall. I know she will love it. Im so sorry your boyfriend has this disease, I take it that you have been tested and are negative? There is no absolutes with this disease and a person can live for a long time with cirrhosis.. its hard to say.. He will need all the support you can give him tho and he is welcome to come here too! jax --- rob7036 <rob7036@...> wrote: > Hi, > > My boyfriend was diagnosed with chronic liver > disease due to Hep C 10 > years ago. Guest guest
Hi Robin. Thank You for coming here and trying to learn all you can to understand and help your boyfriend. I have been thru the eval procedure and have been on the list for 4 years. What is his attitude toward this disease?. Is he as willing to learn and help himself as you are? There is a lot of experience and knowledge about HCV here and we welcome you. What did his biopsy say? whats going on with him? Is he working?. We can experience mild to fairly severe symptomns throughout the course of this disease, over 40 years or so. But once cirrhosis begins a gradual de-compensation of the liver begins and more severe symptoms can begin to occur. Most can be controlled with meds or outpatient procedures..Some people never experience any symptoms but your b/f sounds like he's getting his share. Give us some more info first and we will try to help....your friend....ric I don't know a damned thing other than what I know and what I know isn't always right. Guest guest
Depending on his MELD score that should tell you aproximately how much longer he can hold out .The higher the MELD score the less time the liver will hold out . But once he gets his transplant he will return to a very normal life . The problem with liver disease is that there are no clear cut answers to exactly how much longer a liver will hold out . Is he on any treatment for the hepatitis c ? Being on treatment can halt further damage to the liver while he is waiting for a transplant , he will also have to have treatment after the transplant in order to prevent reinfection of the the new liver . rob7036 <rob7036@...> wrote:Hi, My boyfriend was diagnosed with chronic liver disease due to Hep C 10 years ago. Guest guest
Robin honey, My heart is breaking for you. My soul mate lost his life to ESLD in July last year. And I think I will begin this by saying that noone can give you a time frame honey. Almost everything depends on how he's doing, how his numbers (bloodwork) are, how much fight he has in him, and on and on. I can tell you that it probably won't be ESLD that takes his life. It'll be something else like infection or pnumonia. But what I can tell you is that if your boyfriend has been placed on the transplant list, that's a very good thing. He's still well enough to be able to get through the transplant op. My recommendation to you is to foster a close and honest relationship with his specialist doctor/s. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Make them tell you the truth. And above all, don't waste one precious moment of time with your boyfriend, every one of them is priceless. And above all, make sure he has all his affairs in order. Believe me, the heartache from unfinished business is unbearable. Encourage him to be as well as he can be. Encourage healthy eating and a little exercise if he can manage it. Do some net surfing and research the hospital where your boyfriend is listed. At some sites you can actually see where he is on the waiting list. What's his MELD score? How does he look, not just to you but to friends and family? I'm sure you can understand that this is a very emotional post for me and I just know that the content of this email jumps around all over the place so, do me a favour? If I've left anything out or you want to ask me anything, please don't hesitate. I am so sorry that you had to find us but I'm very glad you did because we would love to offer you all the emotional support you need. Love anne New Hi, My boyfriend was diagnosed with chronic liver disease due to Hep C 10 years ago. In January he was evaluated for a transplant and is now on the list. The past two months his health has really declined. This is really hard for me to say but I worry what the future holds. If a liver does not become available to him in the near future and he continues to decline (which I've been told by his doctor that he won't get any better) in all reality how much time are we talking before this horrible disease takes him. Guest guest
i guess all i can say is hang in there. i watch my six year old go through so much. he has cystic fibrosis and asthma. he takes a ton of medications daily and has had to many invasive procedures to count. he is my inspiration. it is good to join a group , it is a place to vent, learn new things and meet new people. hang in there. evelynff_oakland <ffoakland@...> wrote: I'm new here but not new to 'this'.
