Guest guest
Yeah, me too. It truly blows my mind to see a surgeon walking around with that little mask and all bare-armed, like that will help him much. He clearly believes what he has been told about mold, and so likewise he just doesn't get it. And there's his wife - nice facelift - looking good on the outside, while her insides are getting nailed. Still trying to save that house, and clearly intending to keep goods that probably can't be decontaminated, too. When I heard him talk in that old familiar accent, I got teary all over again. They hate this, and I feel 'em, but I do hope they get out and stay out. It's the only way. Think about it - even if the house and the hospital could be completely cleaned up, what about all the other buildings you go into in the normal course of living? The bank, post office, dry cleaners, supermarket, schools..on and on. And if they treat the mold problem this loosely, there really won't be any escape from its effects, even when they've rebuilt. It's really just one big nightmare, and it's far from over. The Diagnosis cannot be overlooked...... 1. Hospital staff is well. 2. Hurrican Katrina hits 3. Hospital develops mold problem. 4. Hospital staff is sick. Seems pretty straight forward. Unfortunately, the only way for some to believe it is to go through it......it is a sad irony. I wish them the best and wish it was not this way. --------------------------------- for Good Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
