Guest guest
Dear FORUM, I am CRYING!!!!!!! After ALL these years and the hard fight the global hemophilia communities fought to TRY to educate people about the risks of blood, it seems as though we have made little progress. As a prevention educator, one of the things I emphasis when speaking is PESONAL responsibilty of blood donors. The " Gift of Life " can just as quickly become the " Grim Reaper " . Our global supply of blood/organs and tissue will only ever be as safe as our donor population and we have a LONG way to go. My heartfelt empathy and prayers go out to this family. AND, from across the miles, I am asking: PLEASE be there for them. Angie Hendrickson, Wisconsin, USA, In loving memory: Mother of Lapinski: Hemophilia related AIDS: June 2, 1983- June 3, 2002.
