They came in and photographed. I was in the process of getting testing and then the mold tester told me I had excellent air levels. When I got the report however, it said medium levels of mold spores--not low or very low--so I was confused by that statement. I decided to wait until I had the results of Shoemaker's testing before going back to the landlord. I figured it I can prove I'm sick from mold, then I can have them test since I can't afford to do more testing. And maybe my renters insurance will put me up in another apartment. But the Shoemaker testing has taken 2 months already and I now have to redo a test because the lab screwed up. I am doing all the testing through my local doctor and it has been a real nightmare dealing with everyone...doctors' offices, labs....but almost through it. The mold testing report recommended the closets be completely cleaned and repainted. I don't want to do that until I am out of the apartment. I suspect a bigger mold issue in the closets but only could afford a tape test and the air test was done in the main space of my apt. I really need an air test in each of the closets.
