I am stiff and achy but the severe muscle spasms are under better control. I have been taking my zanaflex around the clock. Tom says he knows I'm bad when I don't get online for days at a time. My Ct showed several possible thoraic herniations and requested a Myleogram for a better look. As they don't do surgery in this area, I see no need for a Myleogram. So maybe I can get by with no painful tests.

I hope you continue to get better -- sometimes with a degenerative spinal disease all you can do is manage it and enjoy life when the flares go away. I've only had one really bad pain flare up since my GR-DS, so I hope maybe this will ease off for you, too. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you! The weird part with the illness I have is you can bve fine one hour and the something changes(I've yet to figure out what ) and then suddenly your miserable hurting and exausted. By looking back, I have figured out that October is my worst month. The last 3 years I worked I would say that I only worked 10 days the whole month because of having to take sick leave. I always worried they would think I was laying out because it was near my birthday and halloween. My neurologist then said it wasn't just me but that ALL of her fibro pts would flare around the same time. I wish I could come to Ca. For my year anniversary. I sent Dee and them a pic and she said I was doing great. Except for anemia(my life long friend...LOL) I was doing fine with labs. Hope you all have fun romping around and having lunch dates....I need some friends here that like to " do lunch!
