Guest guest
Colleen, You are brave to even go see one. I know I should find another one. But after two tries, and one jerk after another...I think I'm better off on my antiobiotic protocol, and using a chiropractor/acupunturist, and osteopathic specialist for my care and pain management. One of my rheumatologists even told me that he participated in a 3 yr. study and " breast implants do not cause autoimmune diseases " . I didn't know as much about our issue at the time....but had I talked to him now I would tell him where to put his little 3 year study. Women do not have implants for " just 3 years " . A 3-yr. study is rediculous! I have finally been able to get a lot of my pain under control. I know a lot had to do with acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments. But I also take 5mg of Prednisone, 50mg of Vioxx, and the thing I take for pain in called " Ultracet " ....I can take 2 every 6 hours. So far, I usually just take 2 a day though. Also, organic coffee enemas have helped to control pain as well....and I've only done 2 of them! I know that I have to ween off of Prednisone...and I'll see how I'm doing when that happens (it's usually not too good). The Ultracet works like Tylenol (as Tylenol just wasn't cutting it...and I found out that the bottle is right....ONLY TAKE 8/day). Some days I took almost double that.....not good, I know...I checked my liver just in case. Pain just becomes too unbearable and nothing helps...I completely know where you're coming from. You just want some relief. Just keep looking,Colleen. Help is out there somewhere. Have you tried looking into an Osteopathic doctor? I love mine Best wishes, Kacey
Guest guest
Hey Kacey! The rhematologist I saw was also an osteopathic doc. I have an appt next friday with an endocronologist (sp?). I'm nervous. I think I'll just tell him my problems and not mention implants at all. It's crazy that we can't turn to the people who are supposed to be able to help us. I'm going to get a colonic whenever I find a good clinic in my area. I'm not thrilled about this idea, but I know it will be good for me. I'm also thinking about acupuncture...sounds like a good thing to try. Is it terribly expensive?
