Guest guest
Dear FORUM, Recently , the newspaper Mid - day reported the following. " A consumer court has directed an ayurvedic doctor to pay Rs 4 lakh to one of his patients as compensation for wrongly injecting him with an allopathic drug that left his hand paralysed " . The issue here is " Under the Maharastra Medical Practitioners Act and notifications by the state government, ayurvedic doctors who hold BAMS degrees can prescribe allopathic medicines " The subject of discussion is how would this apply to ART drugs being prescribed/administered by such medical practitioners.
